This presentation provides an overview of how to right-size any fleet using a structured process known as Vehicle Allocation Methodology or simply “VAM” to determine the size, number and types of vehicles needed for a properly run fleet. The presenters review VAM applications, processes, and results along with a real-world case study of VAM results, challenges, and lessons learned by the Idaho National Laboratory fleet director.
