District of Columbia

The District of Columbia’s Department of Public Works retained Mercury for a comprehensive review of fleet replacement practices and development of a long-term fleet replacement strategy. The study includes a fleet of approximately 3,000 vehicles and pieces of equipment. Optimal replacement cycle analysis will be conducted for selected vehicle classifications as well as determining the impact that renewing the fleet on an accelerated schedule will have on the total cost of ownership to the organization.
