FEDERAL FLEET MANAGER CERTIFICATION

Mercury, in partnership with the National Property Management Association (NPMA), offers training and certification in various federal fleet management disciplines. The Federal Fleet Certification program is a nationally recognized course that enables federal fleet managers to gain education, certification, recognition, and improved competitive skills. The program includes three levels of certification, focusing on fleet maintenance management and other key areas of fleet management certification.

  • CFFS – Certified Federal Fleet Specialist – 1st
  • CFFA – Certified Federal Fleet Administrator – 2nd
  • CFFM – Certified Federal Fleet Manager – 3rd

Explanation of Certification Levels

Specialist – defined as someone who works to support fleet activities, usually part time, such as a “vehicle control officer” or a fleet POC in an office.
Administrator – defined as someone who primarily manages a GSA leased fleet.
Manager – defined as someone who manages an owned or combination leased and owned fleet.
  • Certification will enhance your professional status.
  • Additional training will expand your knowledge and increase your technical competence in all aspects of fleet management.
  • Certifications provide professional recognition by peers, management, and your agencies.
  • Training and certification may increase your qualifications for future advancements or other career opportunities.
